COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

Building partnership and community engagement is essential for the Authority to implement its core functions and roles, including establishing credible relationships with our communities in project areas.

The Authority will engage with the wider community through community organization, information campaigns and productive use promotions. The specific areas of intervention include:

1. Overseeing the involvement of sub-national governments and communities through open and respectful communications.

2. Conduct awareness programs for the communities to understand the benefits of use of electricity as the basis for the long-term sustainable economic development intended by rural electrification programs.

3. Appropriately apply a range of outreach intervention programs such as meetings, trainings and workshops with sub-national governments and communities.

4. Use of media and social platforms to communicate to our stakeholders, especially our communities.
